Bhabani Prasad Panda is an entrepreneur and social worker from Kuarmunda, Rourkela in Sundargarh district, Odisha, who believes that business growth and public service are two sides of the same responsibility. A Computer Science graduate with further training in data analytics, digital marketing and animation film-making, he brings a technology mindset to work that is otherwise done on foot, door to door.
He has been actively associated with BJP Odisha since 2014 — serving as Mandal Executive Member and later General Secretary of Kuarmunda (KHA) Mandal, IT Prabhari for the Biramitrapur Assembly Constituency, and State Executive Member of BJP Odisha. Since 2019 he has also worked as Assistant to MLA Shankar Oram, handling constituency work directly.
As Founder of Oracus Enterprises — a technology company working in enterprise software, AI and automation, digital marketing, education and BPO for clients across 20+ countries — he builds the kind of digital capacity the region has long had to import. As President of Jana Mangala Parishad — an organisation serving since 1979 — he leads work in healthcare, education, livelihood, social justice, environment, road safety and human rights.
His personal focus is digital awareness, cyber fraud prevention and IT education, alongside welfare work for women, children and marginalised communities.

Joined BJP Odisha
Started active political work with the BJP membership drive in Odisha, and campaigned in the Biramitrapur Vidhan Sabha and Sundargarh Lok Sabha elections the same year.
2014 – 2020
Co-Convener, Swachh Bharat Mission
Six years of cleanliness and sanitation work at the ground level — awareness drives, community clean-ups and school programmes.
2015 – 2018
Mandal Executive Member, Kuarmunda (KHA)
First organisational responsibility in the party — booth-level committees, voter outreach and day-to-day mandal work.
2018 – 2021
General Secretary, BJP Kuarmunda (KHA) Mandal
Led the mandal organisation — membership campaigns, volunteer teams and door-to-door registration across the mandal.

IT Prabhari, Biramitrapur Assembly Constituency
Ran the constituency's IT cell — digital campaigns, social media outreach and data-backed booth planning.

Handling constituency work directly — public grievances, coordination with departments and follow-up until the work is actually done.

A plantation drive organised by Jana Mangala Parishad with local youth, students and volunteers — saplings planted together, with responsibility taken for watering and care so the trees actually survive.

Free health check-up camp with Hi-Tech Medical College
Jana Mangala Parishad organised a free health check-up camp in association with Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Rourkela. Doctors examined villagers on site and medicines were distributed free of cost, with Parishad volunteers managing registration and crowd support.

Food distribution for orphan children
Anna seva organised for orphan children — cooked meals served to every child, along with essentials for the home. The programme was carried out with Parishad volunteers and covered by the local press.

Jana Mangala Parishad volunteers joined the Traffic SP and his team for an on-road safety drive — helmet and lane discipline, signage and blackspot checks, and direct counselling of riders at accident-prone stretches.
